Derek Jacobs completed his undergraduate work at Kansas State University where he earned a B.S. in Family Studies and Human Services.  Derek went on to continue his education at Perkins School of Theology where he earned his Master of Divinity Degree May of 2007.  Derek is an Ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church and is a member of the North Texas Conference. In June of 2007, Derek was appointed to St. Luke “Community” United Methodist Church as Campus Pastor of St. Luke’s South Campus Ministry in Desoto.  Derek is married to Season Jacobs.  They are parents of one son, Dayson.  Derek is excited about ministry and looking forward to making a positive difference for the Kingdom of God.
